Week 9 – Day 5 Homework

Today we get to meet the 5-year old version of ourselves, a man on the forefront of the viral video lifestyle, and a guy who has started and run social media companies that are changing the world. My belief is that each of these 3 meetings will give you a new look at who you are, what you offer, and how to make it even bigger.

Today I’m suggesting a listen to the 3rd interview with a Viral Video Star – Sean Haines who has a completely different take on the business angle of viral – and it’s one you should know about.

I’m also including a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity I seized to interview the man who started UrbanBaby.com, Tumblr – and many other companies along the way.

I met him on a mountain bike ride and I did what I constantly urge you to do – take risks that could lead to exceptional experiences.

While everyone else was playing shy, I asked him if he’d like to speak to a group of entertainers about social media.

So to end the week – yes, the day before Week 10 of our ShowBiz Blueprint experience together – I’m asking you to fit in a couple of audio interviews that will give you a wider and more brilliant picture of the opportunities that live and walk among us on a daily basis.

Know that what we are doing in this program is too big to do in just 10-weeks. There is so much you are doing and the journey will continue.  The tools will be here for you as will the group and my input.

The Audios

Meeting Your Five Year Old Self – Make sure you are not driving for this and give yourself a few minutes to follow along. A note to the women – I used the ‘he’ pronoun in this. Please substitute that for ‘she’ where appropriate – I had to pick one and run with it.
