- Take credit card for deposit/payment
- What else can you add?
Now, with a clear picture of how you got to your price, an understanding of your competition, and some ideas for your competitive advantage:
- What price would like to be at for the upcoming Holiday Season
- What stories will you have to overcome to get it out of your mouth
- What additional value will you add to your offers/proposals (“none” is a fine answer – it might just be time to raise your fees!)
- What will it mean to you to get that fee?
- What will the consequences be if you don’t raise your fee?
OK – a lot to contemplate. Give this some time – both in quiet contemplation and in moving life. There are deeper answer than the ones that come easy, I promise you that.
Remember that with a new price you are exposed to new clients. Yes – you will have to say goodbye to the people who knew you at your current price – and that’s fine. You aren’t here to stay in the same place, or to change their budgets. This is the change that you came here to get.
