Today I am going to insist that you do something . How’s that? No more Mr. Nice Guy.

This is the stage where some resistance might be taking hold. Are you working and creating, or are you hiding out? If you are hiding out – jump into the forum and tell on yourself. Shine some light on that part of you that is trying to stay small.

If you are working and creating – I love it!

In Step 3 of the Sales Funnel we create a simple graphic PDF that we can share with a prospect to give them a bit more information about who we are and what we bring to the table.

It’s a simple piece – one which you can create yourself or outsource to somewhere like Fiverr, or UpWork. Just make sure you are clear on the content.

  • Their name
  • Some stat about what your solution
  • A personal note including a time you’ll call back

The design is pretty wide open. My ghetto version that I still use could be improved upon in a dozen different ways. Use it as a starting point – or just toss that out and create your own.

What can you do today? Even if it’s hypothetical can you get the experience of researching, creating, and connecting with a prospect and whetting the appetite a bit more in anticipation of your next call?

The last 2 stages of the Sales Funnel are interactive and I’ll address those in a video later this week. For a number of reasons, it’s imperative that you experience all 5 steps of this funnel during this section of the course.

These specific steps can carry you through resistance. I’ve heard this many times and I know it to be fact. Trust yourself and do the steps – perfection isn’t even part of the equation.

Are you going to outsource this part? Are you going to crank it out yourself? Are you going to ask your 14-year old neighbor? Give yourself the gift of completion on this task – I swear to you it will be so much easier next time if you push through it this time.

If you want a very simple tool for creating this type of graphic, check out Canva. It’s free, simple, and very powerful. You can do something 10x nicer than my graphic in no time at all – and then just modify it for each client.
