Give this one some time to get a kick start.
LinkedIN requires some start up time, and it is time well-invested.

Please take these steps with your LinkedIN Profile?
- Put a professional headline that describes what you offer to the market
- Make sure your job title and position are accurate. Make it fun without having the person have to think, “Who is this?!?”
- Fill the media area with your promo reel and photos. If you have any that boost your celebrity be sure to include those.
- Review your Summary (right under your Profile box). Update it to tell a story about what you bring to your clients. Watch the ‘clever’. We want to be understood by a 5th grader.
- Reach out and connect with players in your area, market, community, niche, local business groups, past clients, professional connections, and mentors. Don’t be shy – send out 50 or more.
- In the box that pops up where you write to the person you are asking for a connection, don’t send the default message. Put something fun that will ring a bell and make the person smile. It’s very easy if you don’t get caught in perfectionism.
- Once they accept your connection instantly write them a recommendation! It doesn’t have to Shakespeare – just make sure it’s something specifically to that person – not a generic copy/paste. Most people will write you one back as soon as they approve the one you wrote for them!
- Ask them the Million Dollar Question: What are you working on right now that me or someone in my network can help you achieve?”
- Connect them to someone in your network with an introduction you send to both.
- Ideally, I’d like to see you spend at least 2 hours on this between now and when we meet again.
Proud of you for being here, [wlm_firstname]. You are facing the music, and getting it done. On the other side of everything we are doing in this program you are going to be so happy you stayed in the game.
