Remember that I challenge you to move up one level from where you’re currently live streaming – if you are live streaming.

Sample Template for Going Live

1. Remember you’re an entertainer – make it fun, easy on the eyes, keep the viewer wondering what’s going to happen next – and smile while you talk. Just like I talked about in our session on doing television – learn to smile while you talk. You’ll see me doing it constantly on my Live Streams. It builds trust and it really makes the time fly.
2. A single subject and this can be a stance on a topic, a comical look at a news story, a thesis about something we don’t quite get as a culture, a story from one of your favorite performances and why it was special, something a client recently said to you, a review of a movie or play you just saw, or anything else that excites you.
3. A couple of support points – what can you say to back up your position or claim? Is there any science, study, or polls that can corroborate or refute your thesis?
4. A call to action – what do you want the viewer to get from this and is there something they should do next?
5. Spend a minute or two jotting down a few bullet points and be real – go live and have fun.
