Let’s jump into this one – I explain the journey it took to create this one right up front.
We’ll all suffer disappointments in our career. My strategy is to take a few days to get clear and then come back bigger and better.

My Life First Accounts and Sample Expenditures in Each
- 2 Hours Personal Development – exercise, dog walk, podcasts, gym, cardio, stretching, meditation, hot tub.
- 4 Hours Money Making Activities – coaching, writing content, prospect astonishment, being interviewed, doing interviews, advertising, launch planning, affiliate promotions, tuning my email funnels and upsell offers, evaluating more outsourcing options, looking for ways to remove myself from the busyness of my business, planning my live shows, creating webinars, making offers/proposals
- 4 Hours Domestic Pleasures – meals, being with my wife/son, paying bills, house projects, organization, helping with homework, games, vacation planning
- 2 Hours Swinging for the Fences – LinkedIN, Amazon, asking for recommendations, connecting people in my network, reading about people making a splash and connecting with them, finding triathlons or new physical challenges. This time usually goes way faster than it seems it would.
- 6 Hours of Sleep – that’s all I need except for a few 10 hour weekend days once in awhile.
- Flex Time – Currently at 6 hours/day
Sample Life First Plan for the Employed Person
- 1-hour Personal Development – Of course, this could be improved by carefully using time during commute or lunch breaks.
- 8 Hours Money Making Activities – this is the day job – whatever it is that brings in the sheckels. The great paradox here is that for most people with a job, the ceiling is set for income earning potential so it’s very important to use their personal development, commute, and swinging for the fences most effectively.
- 1-Hour Commute – to and from the job. This is time that could be used to augment the personal development or swinging for the fences accounts. For someone truly trying to ditch the 9-5, this time is pure gold and should never be wasted.
- 3 Hours Domestic Pleasures – It’s a bit less than the entrepreneur model for this account, but there is a price to pay fo full-time employment.
- 1 Hour Swinging for the Fences – It amazes me how much a person can finish in a given period of time – an hour, for instance. If this account is aided with careful use of the commute time, one can hit the ground running with this hour each day instead of spending ½ of it looking for what to do.
- 7 Hours of Sleep – this is the average time that my employed friends said they sleep. Again, if the person can go with less they can easily feed another account.
- 3 Hours of Flex Time – EACH DAY that can be donated to any of his/her other accounts depending on the desire to create what that account is responsible for producing.

My Life Master Sheet –
Please note that this is for Platinum Club members only. Not to be shared. A lot of this is under development and I’m sharing it to give you an inside view as it’s developed and launched.
This is great Barry. Very helpful. Say, do you have that link to the style sheet?
Oops… I added it to the bottom of the page. Nice catch! Anything else that would help you put this into action?
You said there is a link to the master sheet? Or just copy paste?
