My Why
I bring a message to kids in a new fun unforgettable way
So that
Kids can learn from a new prospective and get an outsider confirmation.
So that
Teachers have an easier time teaching on a day to day basis.
So that
So that kids can build on a solid foundation in a place that recognizes their need for fun, music and art.
So that
Kids can reach their full potential.
Your professional why was about your family not living in scarcity, that seems like a personal WHY. I’m confused.
Good question… that came up when I went through this exercise and went through 6 rounds of So What. The previous 5 were about what I did for other people. On the 6th I came up with why I’m doing it for me.
As I said in the podcast, all are valid – and at some point one will take your breath away. That’s the big why. I have it front of my at my desk and with me on my phone. It’s what I look at when I’m feeling like slipping or giving less than 100%.
It puts me back on course every single time – instantly and without question.
My personal BIG WHY is just as powerful for me. It’s why I’m here.

What happens to your marketing message with that as part of the formula?
I think it’s a message that businesses want to hear. It needs to be integrated into everything we do.
Simon would say, and I know this for a fact, “what if you lead with it instead of integrating it?” Just a thought…

I’ve been really racking my brain. Just not satisfied with the answer I gave.
Honestly, it wasn’t honest.
The thing that scares the heck out of me, that makes me shake, is
CAN I RETIRE SOMEDAY?
I haven’t put away enough. I need to make some serious dough. I’m 50 now. I don’t have a house. I have debt.
“Profit First” slapped some reality into my life.
I feel like its so tacky to want to make money. That my WHY should be some noble mission.
But I want to make a lot of money,
So That
I can own my own house, fund my own retirement.
So that
I can relax and be creative.
So that
I can explore everything this world has to offer.
So that
I can say I did it all myself.
So That
I can be an example for my kids to do the same. Free to love and learn and grow without the pressures of debt and taxes and income.
I want to be the person NOW that I want my kids to be in the future. Self supportive, creative, loving.
